Ahhh this stupid computer….
Sometime in our interactions with computers we have said something about those lines, probably not as nice. Well today I am offering some free tips on how to fix the basic problems people encounter with this machines. This computers are machines, just a bunch of hardware put together, this hardware is like the body of the machine, but what is a body without a soul? Nothing! And that is why you need software! Software is the soul of the machine, it tells the machine how to operate! However, the machine and the software (refer to as pc from now on) do certain operations on its own but it is still dependent on the human to do what is asked to do.
The computers main purpose at least in my life is to facilitate and do things like create documents, browse the web, save photos, etc. Actions like these and many others, create (what I call) junk, and this junk needs to be cleaned from time to time. Every time you browse the web, you leave little crumbs of information in the pc. Everytime you delete a file, install a program, delete a shorcut, delete a document, etc you are leaving crumbs behind and your pc will start to feel the weight of all that information, and it will get clutter and we all now how it is to work in clutter, it is hard and confusing!! The pc sort of feels the same way, once every so often you need to clean the mess in the pc for it to work best.

There are a few FREE tools that you can use to clean the mess:
- Advance System Care Pro 5 from IOBIT
- System Mechanic
- Super Anti Spyware
The first one and the last one have free versions that you can dowmnload and try for free. I use this tools personally and have good experience with them. Stay tuned for more pc tips!!
Organizing your files..

I say that if it takes you more than 30 seconds to 1 minute or more to find a document in your computer you probably need to organize your files. Many of my early customers had this problem, and it is indeed a common problem and you should not feel bad about it. I am going to suggest a way to organize your files in a way that its easy for you to remember and it makes sense.
The pc have a way of organizing the information in its little brain and this information sometimes it is not store like it should. Lets think about a filing cabinet, it has drawers and inside the drawers it has files and inside the files are documents.
Now lets imagine the filing cabinet there you have a drawer for projects and a drawer for personal stuff and inside the projects drawer it has three folders one for Project A, one for Project B and one for Project C. Now lets say that you are working on Project A and created a document for it and downloaded a pdf for it also, the question is where are you going to save them? Well it should be organized in its proper folder, right?
Well, the computer gives you the option to save them in a specific place, but if you just click without reading, the document most likely goes to Documents and the pdf goes to the downloads folder. This is precisely what you should avoid, you need to read the messages the pc is telling you. Take the time to do that, read. Once you have the pop up window asking you to save, this is the perfect oportunity to keep it organized and save it where it belongs.
Time = $$$$$, therefore, the more productive you are the better. I have a saying which you probably have heard before, “Work Smarter Not Harder”. When you take the time to organize your files, I recommend to open two windows, one for the place where you have all the documents and the other window for the place where you want to put them to. Then start selecting the files (either one by one or multiple at the same time) and drag them into their new home. Remember, Cabinet Drawer – Project Folder – Specific Folder – Document. Many organizations have a way of doing things for example lets continue with Project A. In this project you have many documents like, proposals, quotes, invoices and reports, now, if you keep everything together, you are going to have a hard time looking for that invoice that you made 6 months ago. Now, if you make a folder just for invoices, you will avoid looking through proposals, quotes, reports and every other document that you have placed there. That is time you’ve waisted and not going to get it back! “Work Smarter Not Harder”!!

Hope this helps!!
